August SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring August's SOTM, which
is Wicked. If you have come here from Carol Lee's Blog,
you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work
your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating
consultants here: Complete List of Blog Hoppers

This month we have just over 60 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!
Here we go!

This is a 6x6 card using a design called "Button Trio" from the How-To card making book offered by CTMH called Originals.  The paper used in this card is from one of the new packets called, Dreamin'. It's now available beginning in August. You will love this stamp!

Now "Hop" on over to Kat's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the February SOTM is
only available for the duration of this month! Contact your CTMH Consultant or visit myCTMH website to
see how you can get this stamp set, valued at $17.95 for only $5!
Take a look at the other images on this great stamp set:

Also in August there is a free A-sized stamp set when you spend $50 - which means you get the Stamp of the month for only $5 and this A-sized set for FREE!

Various Layouts

This is a really old and retired paper packet and I finally put this layout to bed which had been sitting unfinished for years now. I stamped with a non-CTMH stamp. It was the very first rubber stamp I ever owned and it just fit well in this layout so I used it. This was a trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium when Joe was probably not even two years old yet. Wow! So long ago!

This layout uses the Mayberry packet and I adore the colors and my babies in this layout. This was the photo session from JC Penney when they were turning age two and age four.

Another JC Penney photo shoot from Amanda's second birthday. I love the way the Sweetheart paper pack matches perfectly with her outfit.

And finally, this was the Workshop on the Go layout from the Sweetheart packet. When I orginally did this layout, I was working with limited photos. Otherwise, I probably would have chosen something else because I'm not crazy about the clashing colors of the many princess dresses. Oh well - We do these layouts and are critical initially but in the future I will look back, love it and be happy that I did it and not be as critical.

CTMH 2011 Convention

The 2011 Convention theme was "When You Wish" and it was a wish come true for me! I was in my favorite place in the world - Disneyland! I was doing one of my favorite activites - scrapbooking! And I was with some of my favorite people on the planet - my CTMH family! It was such a fun and exciting event. We learned about the Cricut joining up with CTMH and got to preview new products and go our hands on the Idea Book. One of my highlights was the Awards Dinner. The food was FANTASTIC. No one does food like the Disneyland Hotel kitchen.

Tri-Lingual Card

So my son is starting a dual language K-6 program in just a few short weeks as summer quickly slips away from us. I made these cards to give as a set to his teacher and also to give to some donors who helped us out with a fundraiser for a non-profit group associated with the program.

This set is definitely a must have for anyone that remotely likes doing Halloween projects. This card is a design from Originals called Button Trio. It is a 6x6 card and the perfect size for showcasing the witch on the front and incorporating the lovely versatile border that will go great with other non-spooky projects. Hope you enjoy this project and if you want to order the stamp contact me direct or visit my website at
