This month, when working with this set, I felt it was more suited towards layouts instead of cards. So here's two layouts that went perfectly for the sentiments in this stamp set. I hope you enjoy!

I created this layout about something we probably don't scrapbook about often - funerals. But when I see this stamp set, it makes me think of layouts that have to do with being home. And here, my mom opened her home for the final three months of my Uncle's life. They had always had a rough relationship but in the end, the love and loyalty to family brought my mom to the decision to open up her home to him during his greatest time of need. What a great thing for me to remember about my mom's love and kindness.

The next layout is of Christmas morning.... photos of us at home celebrating the arrival of a trampoline delivered by Santa and then later, sharing Christmas with my in-laws at their home - the family home where my husband grew up. The sentiments on this set can go so well with so many layouts as so many things take place at home.

Thanks for visiting!

Double layouts!!

Gettin' it done in 2013!!!

My new scrapbook method: don't do a layout without doing a duplicate layout with a different packet. This time I didn't use a workshop guide. I used the stickease from one pack and on the back of the sticker sheet there is a layout suggestion and it has the layout name and the book to find it. So this is Hocus Pocus from the Magic book.

Also a sneak peek at February stamp on the month... Can you spot it???

Something old, something new

I had this wonderful idea. Use of my workshops on the go and do a second layout at the same time but in an older paper pack. In this case boom di ada was the older pack.

I did the layouts first and then dove into a stack of Disneyland photos from 2011 and found great images to coordinate.

Love the way this turned out and I got two layouts done in one sitting!!

Clementine

Here's a layout I did yesterday. The photos are from toro park in 2011 when my little guy had his last school wide field trip of preschool. These are my two kiddos with their best friends. This paper goes so well with boys and girls. I used the new artiste cricut cartridge for a few things on these pages and also used the Zip strips that come with the new paper.

Halloween 2010

This layout is made with a set of promotional paper no longer available. Finally digging into it now that my craft space is a bit more functional.

This trip was Disneyland 2010 at Halloween AND of course my SF giants were in the world series. Love the way this one came out.

Garden layout with Mayberry

I love the use of flip flaps. It's one of my favorite CTMH products. I love packing in more photos without cramming them all over the page or cropping down to tiny images. Sometimes tiny is nice but then you lose a lot of background. This was made with Mayberry - a pack that came out in the spring summer 2011 catalog. I have always really loved this paper pack for its gender neutral colors... Something I love having both a son and daughter.
