One more for moms!

Here's one more card I forgot to include!

Mother's Day Ideas

This is a "candy" bag except this month instead of candy, mom is getting
some Southwestern Seasoning Mix from Pampered Chef. The chili pepper
stamp from May Word Puzzle goes perfect with this gift and it's a great
idea to present small gifts for mom. The ribbon is stamped with the white
daisy ink pad.

These two are gift card holders so they fold over and the inside has slits made from scissors (or you can use an exacto knife) to hold a gift card. So if you're getting mom a gift card this year, try this idea to present it to her. It's really quick and easy to do and you probably have scraps leftover from your kits to make something this size! Have fun creating!

Two Peas Blog Challenge

How is life different for your children than when you were growing up? (great page idea as well)

My son is not even two yet so for his age thus far, I'd have to say the biggest difference between his life and my life at this time would probably be nutrition. I think I was drinking soda from a can at a very early age and had the baby bottle for a very long time. I am a huge nutrition nut compared to this approach!! No soda for my little guy!

Scrapbook Party Project

This is an example of the types of projects I would do at a scrapbook party. You get to see and feel CTMH's papers, try out the amazing stamps and leave with a completed page ready for your photos. Isn't it lovely?

Quick Gift Tags

Another fun and easy way to use your stamps is to make a quick gift tag for a birthday gift. These are easy and simple ones made for a kids party - a 4 year old boy and a 9 year old girl. Just takes some scraps of paper and your favorite stamps. Add a bit of color with your markers and you've got an easy tag to attach to a gift bag!

Make a Candy Bag

These candy bags are so easy to make! Trim a piece of cardstock to size 4x6. Fold it over so your card measures 3". Decorate using your favorite seasonal stamps or with a sentiment such as "Thank You" and give out to friends, family, co-workers, and classmates. On this paticular card, I used the January Stamp of the Month, EasterTime. I used the round dot to give the eggs different colored spots. The clear bags can be found in large quantities at craft stores such as Michael's.

Favorite Time of Day

Two Peas Challenge:

What is your favorite time of day?

I hate to say this but my favorite time of the day right now is nap time! It's really my break time or lunch break where I can relax and do something for myself.

Journaling Tips: If you are stumped with a journaling topic or a theme for your next layout, sometimes questions like this give you ideas for layouts.

One thing I'll Never Forget....

Two Peas Challenge Quesetion for Bloggers:

What is one thing you'll never forget?

Such an appropriate question for me at this time as I just lost my dad two weeks ago today. I will of course never forget him, but I'll never forget our memories - the trips to Disneyland, snorkeling in the Virgin Islands, skiing in Lake Tahoe. These are things that made my childhood so special and memorable and I have him part of those memories and responsible for them as well. He was an example of many ways that I want to raise my own kids in terms of cherishing them and enjoying them.
